What all I do I need for a cam install?...

Here's the plan. This summer I am planning to rebuild to a 355 with a Comp 230/236 cam, 3600 stall, etc. all the works...possibly even nitrous.

I am hoping to order a cam kit from Combination Motorsports in the next few weeks and I need to know everything I will need to order from them. So far all I know is cam, 1.6 RR's, and valve springs. Please help me out so I can get a list of everything I need to put the cam in so I can go ahead and order it.

when you talk to CMS on the phone, tell them you need 'everything' for a cam swap, they will help you out, good guys over there!

I'm doing a cam this summer on my '97 Z. Here's my entire list for the cam change:

LT4 Hotcam Kit (Cam, Springs, 1.6RR)
Comp Cams "R" Lifters
GM Timing Chain
New Opti, Plugs/Wires/02 Sensors
Tuning through MADZ28

That should wake the ol 30th up, wouldnt you say? I'm also gonna throw on some Jet-Hot Long Tubes/Y-Pipe, LT4 KM, 160 T-Stat. I just cant wait! Good luck on all your work.

don't get it all done and go to put it back together and realise you dont have all the gaskets you need. A little thing but some overlook.
