What all do you need to install 1.6 RR

What all do you need to install 1.6 RR

I will get the crane springs with the matching reatainer i think it is and the summit 1.6 self alising rr's what else do i need for this to work or is that it, im on my way to getting a cam after tq convert and gears too! thasnk

While you're in there, you might as well get new springs(stiffer) and new rods. You may also have to modify your valve covers if they do not fit right. Some do, some don't. Oh yeah, if your valve cover gasket is junk, be sure to replace it.

valve stem seals. you will have to pull the old ones to get the stock seats off. there is no need to replace any of the pushrods unless some are bent. but depending on what year car you have, you may have hardened pushrods. if not, you will need them when you install a cam later.

New rods to change rockers? Maybe a typo but if not, what the heck would you want to go that deep into the motor for just to change the rockers?

He was talking about push rods.
