Putting a 95 LT1 engine in a streetrod and stripping it down to bare essentials (have benchtop cables to program the ecm).

What is this air valves' function. Located on passenger side between injectors, 2 wire plug, 2 vacuum lines.

EVAP purge solenoid. When it opens, engine vacuum from the passenger side of the throttle body pulls the hydrocarbon vapor out of the carbon canister in the driver rear fender:
