What Aftermarket Valve Cover Will Fit An Lt1 Without Modification?

some input would be great because im looking to ditch my old factory one, i was looking at summits web site and came across some pro-141-131 since summit is right down the street from me would these work without any modification? or do you guys know some that i can just order?? thanks (oh yea they need to clear my 1.6RR pro mags)

If you are running the alternator in the stock location still they will not work, you will nee to buy some LT1 specific valvecovers that have the passenger side valvecover notched for clearance.

LT4 Valve covers will fit w/o any modifications.

Ebay has a nice selection of chrome valve covers that have the notch to clear the alternator.

I had to cut a chunk out of each of the supports to clear the roller rockers but it wasn't a big deal. They're cheap, fit great, leak free and look great in my opinion.

Yes, that will work, many people do that as well.

well thanks for the help guys, i just bought me a set of the lt4 covers from dal for about 240 plus shipping does that sound about right?

I really like the Canton 65-206 valve covers and they are less expensive $189.99.
