What about THESE header bolts ???

I just seen these header bolts in jegs and i was wondering if they are any good . Whats the best header bolt and gasket
for MAC midlengths ? These are going on a 94 LT1 . Thanks

I'm sure those would work good. I use the stage 8's. Those are nice because they can use an allan wrench, or a 7/16.

I've got them on my car.

They were costly but worth it in my opinion since I'm not planning on removing my headers any time soon. They were kind of a pain to lock with 96 SLP shorty headers. The hardest part is locking to the torque specified. I just tightened as hard as I could but it would always slip out of the lock. None have backed out yet...but I've only got 100+ miles on the car since the head swap.

I put the Breslin split locks on my car when I installed my Hooker LTs.

I've driven 7,000 miles since January and haven't had any leakage at all.

The link you posted was for the LS1 bolts, I think you want a standard SBC bolt that is 1" long with a 3/8" head.

You want the 600-101's and they're cheaper if you order them directly from Breslin. http://www.go-breslin.com
