Found this in my oil pick up screen. Its soft like tin foil but its not bearing material. Only thing that I can even imagine it being was an old oil level sensor that broke off into the oil pan. But even then that piece is way to big to be from that sensor.

 

I have no idea, but I would suggest taking a clearer picture with the object on a darker solid background.

It looks like one of those peel off seals that comes on most fluid bottles.

Considering its in the shape of a square, I don't think its from a bottle.

Was that all that you found? Is there any foreign material in the oil filter?

Lucky, coulda been alot worse lol. I was expecting to see a piece of a piston skirt or lifter or something.

 

I found that same piece in my motor when I pulled my pan.
NO JOKE... My builder could not tell me where
it came from.
