What is this?

I have never seen this on any lt1 engine besides mine. It looks like the throttle cable is running to it. Any help?

The first picture is the thing the second picture is where it is located on the motor.

i would start by just unplugging it and seeing what happens. at most it well set an SES code, and your ASR light might do some funky things. but it won't hurt anything.

I think u need a cable from a non-traction control car as well since the one right now will be too short.

That looks the Cruise control thing, ... I forget the technical term, but there's a picture of it in the holly manual, that shows the throttle cable routing to it...but it's suppossed to be on vettes only though.... any how damn that thing is ugly I'm glad it's not on my engine.

If you remove the traction control servo, you will have to replace the throttle cable and cruise cables with non-TCS ones.

I have mine on there with my longtubes installed. No issues with that. No need to remove it.

Also, the ASR servo comes with a factory plastic cover that is missing in your photo. Did you remove your cover? If you ever need to adjust your servo, or the throttle cable linkage PM me. My recommendation is "don't" remove the ASR servo.
