and where can I buy it???? im missing it, and im sure thats why im loosing power!



the two black brackets on the alternator...

I don't have them anymore on my alternator and no it won't affect horsepower.

 

Those brackets won't affect your power numbers, did you check the dealer for the brackets?

 

I haven't had that brace on my car since 1999 Hasn't affected anything on my car yet...

 

but my question is will it affect my power supply to the engine?

 

i'll take their word for it since they dont have one on, but isnt it possible that the one bolt holding the alternator on on the bottom side could come loose? causing it to tilt and lose tension in the belt (although i guess that is what the tensioner pulley is for) couldn't be more than a few bucks from a dealer to be on the safe side
