Unhappy Wet opti

Well yesterday it was pouring down rain and there were lots of big puddles around. I guess I got the opti wet b/c after i went through a puddle the car would bog down when i hit the gas and it was almost dying at idle. Sounds like the opti right? The only good thing is that it looks like i will be going to the delteq system and therefore wont have anymore opti problems. I hate the OPTI!

Only problem is, the Delteq system that is currently available requires the high and low resolution pulses from the Opti. The model that totally eliminates the Opti is not yet available (3 months and waiting) as far as I know.

Check everyting related to the ignition system for wetness.... alll the wires, connectors, IC module, coil, etc. Any of them could have got wet. Particularly check the Opti harness connector. Not saying it isn't the Opti, only that it could also be "any of the above". The Opti has also been known to "dry out" over a period of a few days, if you are lucky.
