Its all good... just I dont think that is was as much driver, as the car doesnt really have it. It needs something, as he should be much faster than my lid/cutout LS1... after all he has a an intake, bigger cam, midlengths, roller rockers, and tuning.

I have $200 bucks in go mods on my car... and Im running 1-2 mph faster on the same day... def need to get the bugs out!

seems like me and you have the same problem. check my sig I have pretty much same setup and when i went to englishtown last week I did 105 at 13.4. Let me tell you I was pissed. I've been trying to figure out what went wrong, The only difference between us is I still have the stock manifolds on. And I also pulled a ses light on the way to the track ended up being egr flow. which is normal since vacume is down due to the 224/230. I am also running street tires with an M6,

P.S. this is weird I also own a 94 wrangler with 31" tires and skyjacker lift

Just a thought camz97, but if your car/motor really has just 8800 miles , is your motor even fully broken in? My car defninitely needed 15000 miles just to start running decent times, and although I know its an LS1 car, most engines need a good 20k to really get broken in... best example i can think of is in all those long term tests magazines do, they cars almost invariably run faster with 40k on the odo....

Yes the car really has that mileage, I bought new in 97 and it sits most of the year. As for breaking in you might be right I never thought of it in that way, Anything is possible. I was thinking that I was starving the engine without having headers. So I ordered pacesetter long tubes and hopefully in jan when i raise the money the heads will be done

I am still trying to entertain ideas as to why my trap speed was so low. I am thinking of replacing the cat, but I dunno if that could cause that much of a difference. Any other ideas as to what it could be?
