Went to track and car is garbage

1st run: (floored it from idle)
60':1.968
1/8: 8.7@78.22
1/4: 13.864 @ 96.60( let off early)

2nd run: ( Preloaded Tranny)
60':2.048
1/8:8.7@81.67
1/4: 13.594@101.13

3rd run: ( Preloaded Tranny)
60': 2.169
1/8:8.8@81.53
1/4: 13.7@101.39
(got a .091 r/t though, not that it matters)
Considering the mods I got, i'm upset.Car has 84k miles. I'm located Orlando, FL and temp was 73, humidity was 81. Car is an auto that I have to manually shift to get it to rev above 3000 RPM. I do know some of the rocker arms have chips( hit the stud and broke off). Any ideas why the car ran a 13.5, or why my Trap speed was so low?

thats about what times you should be running, thats an average time for an LT1 with those mods....
(101 is a good trap)

I wouldn't be happy, but I wouldn't be pissed either!

EDIT: hotcam, nevermind

tuning

Dont be angry you just need some tuning and maybe try to adjusting rockers, or seeing if you have any knock. That fast chip is prob slowing you down, I have all bolt ons and 4.11 m6 and trapping 83mph in eighth and 105 in the quarter but again my car is 3800 pounds full weight.. you should be around 8.2 @83 84 mph, just see what computer is reading....

101 is not good mph... even for a hotcam. Why do you have to shift it manually to get it above 3000 rpm? That isn't how it should work.

I didn't do any of the mods myself but I bought the car with its current mods and found them. I don't know for a fac that I have a LT4 hotcam but it my car sounds exactly liek the cars I have heard with teh hotcam. Also, on teh radiator, there is a GM performance parts sticker. I also have a fastchip sticker next to it. I have heard that 93s are tuned by Ed Wright if sent to Fastchip and he is a good tuner. Would my damdaged rockers ahve any effect on the car's power?

Those times didn't sound that bad on a 87k car with those addons. Your cars 1sec less than stock. You should have it dynod, and that hsould give you your answers. Better than wasting money playing guessing games as to what needs to be done.

I wish I knew why I had to shift it manually. If I floor it in D or OD, The car will rev up to like 3800, instead of reving higher, it will sit there and then upshift. I did have my tranny built earlier this year and he said whoever had the car before me, put in "half of a shift kit" and that I have a "higher end torque convertor". I would have aske dhimw aht he emant but my dad was talkign to him when he told him all of this.

Heat... are you serious!? He is in Florida... one of the best states for year round drag racing.

You have no idea what cam is in the car? Have you ever had the valve covers off? You need to get a look at the actual parts in the car. Guessing is going to do nothing but **** you off when the car doesn't perform. You have a few issues to work out with the car. I'm sure that with some time and actual part descriptions you can get it together. You car is not garbage... you just dont know what you have to work with.

Car has 3.23 gears. I did get my valve covers pulled when I saw metal in my oil. Cylinder one rocker was the worst. The only other rocker besides one that was affected was number 4. I don't got pics of my rockers but It looke slike the rocker lifted up to high and hit the stud holdign it and place. ALso, the rockers are teh LT4 1.6 Roller Rockers.
