well shes smoked (experts wanted)

well after having a very hard rain and a leaky intake gasket or injector o ring letting water into number 8 shes gone. so i need some opinions i have a powerdyne 6psi charger that i never got a chance to put on, i was wonder if a nice forged 355 and a le2 package would work good with the charger or just dump the charger and up the compression. im kinda torn need some expert opinions.

You only gave us 40 minutes at 7:30 in the morning.. hold your horses bucko.

Nothing wrong with either though, just keep in mind more power = more breakage, so just plan your budget accordingly.

Bret can spec out a cam for ya that I'm sure would work nicely with the LE2 heads and a blower on a 355.

if I had a Le2 heads and cam setup I would toss out the powerdyne......and hose it...that blower is a bigass paperweight

355 VRE Racer Longblock set up for boost!!

Thats what I'd do, but I guess I'm a bit biased

Drop me a PM if you'd like me to put together a few different combos for your review.

An LE2 cam wouldn't work too well with a blower. The heads yes, but you would need to get a blower cam with more LSA.

Re: well shes smoked (experts wanted)

Ditch the powerdyne, get a pro charger if you wanna build a FI motor. Or a Vortech. Im not a fan of too many others ...

Make sure its intercooled.

Get stage two or stage 3 LE heads ... and get bret to grind you something neat for that beast.

It WILL put down 500 on moderate boost levels if you do it right.

Well ... If you have to pass any kind of emissions garbage, the blower would be the way to go. It also is the easiest way to make more power if you choose to later. You could run a new pulley, and get a tune and your set. If you build it NA and decide you want more out of it, you got alot of work ahead of you.

All motor is bad *** though, and a loppey idle is awesome.
