A msd 6Al ignition box, the 6000-6800 pills, and a Blaster coil all from MSD.

Now i need the MSD timing Retard box to plug into the MSD 6al. Where can i find this and the cheapest? I need this for the Nitrous!

Also should i get a harness or should i just wire it myself?

Ok one thing. I dont want to wait to get the harness, im just going to go ahead and splice the wires on the coil.

Now on the coil, there is the Black terminal ( one wire)and the Grey terminal (two wires)

Do you know where the Orange wire, the Red wire, and the Black wire connect to on the coil from the MSD box?

Im not worried about the Big red wire or black one, just the little ones that connect to the coil. Anyone have a clue to which one each connects.

Also the coil wires are diff colors.

what will an aftermarket ignition box do?

 

On a stock LT1 or a car with some simple bolt-ons, the aftermarket box will not do anything. In his case, he is running nitrous so the aftermarket box in combination with a few other things, he can retard the timing and spray in a certain RPM window.

 

Does this bypass/replace the ICM?

 

I noticed better throttle response when I hooked my msd box up.

 

wow...hooking the wires up are easy, but i just spent the LAST 30 min trying to figure out where i want to hook up my Retard Box, and 6Al box. I also have a Digi WIndow switch box too....

I need help guys... Pics please or anyplaces where i can put the boxes?
