Took it for the first drive down the road today. Got back in the driveway and it was leaking coolant all over. Turns out it was spitting out of the radiator cap! None got on the opti though, which is good
While I had the car running in the garage, the temp was up pretty high and the low coolant light still on, so I figured it needed more coolant.

Just in case you didn't know or didn't do it, you need to bleed your cooling system any time you drain the system or you'll get an air pocket and you car will run hot and possibly overheat.
There are two bleeder screws (common tip) on top by the throttle body on the passanges side, those are used for bleeding your system. I believe all you have to do is get your car up to operating temp and then bleed the air out of them until coolant starts to com out.

Good point.
When I was refilling the coolant, I opened the screws, poured coolant in the radiator until some came out of the screws. Then I put some more in the place you check the coolant level
