Weird Ticking inside car ...

So, I drove my car briefly today and i notice that when i'm going above 5 mph is a ticking, it sounds exactly like when you turn on the rear window defogger...and it's coming from that part, as a matter of fact i tried turning it on and off and it's the same sound..

any ideas what it might be?? can just disconnect a fuse for the defogger???

Re: Weird Ticking inside car ...

The hatch window defogger uses a circuit breaker to control the length of time it operates. The factory ones get worse and worse the older they get, to the point that it may operate for a minute and then pop off. not saying this is your issue, but you may want to check all circuit breakers just the same. I went to the junkyard and collected a bunch of LittleFuse breakers...they give about 10min operating time on the defroster/defogger.
