Question Weird sound from gas tank?

I filled the car up, drove home about 30 miles, ran some errands, car runs fine, starts fine on the first shot but after you start like a min or so later you can hear a weird noise comming from the rear of the car, it sounds like some thing electrical is opening up? Never made that noise before, any suggestions?

Sounds like the fuel pump. Have you never heard it before? It's always been pretty loud in my car. You should be able to hear it when you turn the key on and the pump primes up, and should keep hearing it run while the motor's running, unless you have a really loud exhaust.

It is possible that the pump is headed south, especially if it's a howling sound rather than a whining one.

It primes fine with the key forward, sounds comoleteley normal, the noise doesnt happen till afew minutes after the car has been running and it only makes that noise for a few seconds. If the radio is on I proly wouldnt even been able to hear it.
