okay first of all I want to say that my car has been running bad for awhile. Im thinking opti because the car has lost ALOT of performance, horrible gas mileage,boogs down, and the car sounds weaker...............

But the weird thing is that my car runs better whenever i have more than a half-tank of gas in...whenever it goes under that the car takes awhile to turn over to start and the car runs worse than it already does.

What could that mean

 

start checking the fuel system....filter to start. Then check out the FP and see if the pump is putting out what it should...45psi I believe. Those are the starting points...are there any codes??? Welcome to OBDI diagnostics!!! what fun!!!

In the tank, above the fuel pump is a rubber hose that connects the pump to the hard line comming out of the tank. Yours has a hole in it.
