How can i check for spark. Just take the wire off the plug and see if it arcs to something and sparks when its turns over?

And i just replaced the fuel pump and it drove right after that so im sure it cant be that.

Problems with the optical sensor will set codes (P1371 is "fatal"). Have you scanned it?

My car wouldn't start either just the other day, I made a post about it, no replies :P.

Turns out my opti is full of white stuff where the Non-spark plug wire connects to it(forgot the name, top of the opti). I sprayed some brake cleaner in there and tried to get as much of that goo out, reconnected the wire nice and good and it started right up. Of course I let the brake clean dry for a few minutes.
