Waterpump & Opti replacement

Hey everyone,
I just did the w/p and opti replacement. It wasn't too bad, took about 8 hrs. This link was very helpful--http://www.houston-f-body.org/tech/optispark/. One thing I want to add, if you are replacing the w/p, make sure the coupling that mates the spline shaft on the engine and w/p gets put on the new w/p. I didn't realize mine was still on the old w/p until I couldn't figure out why the engine kept overheating, even after bleeding the system. Needless to say I had to tear everything back down again. Didn't need that aggravation. Jason Cromer hooked me up with the w/p, $175 and opti, $238.
