waterpump bearing

waterpump bearing

so the shaft that comes out of the block for the water pump..is it replaceable? the one with the bearing on it?

I'm sure, but never heard of anyone buying one. If I were you I would post a part wanted ad cause a ton of people have gone to electric water pumps and someone is liekly to have one lying around that they would send ya for a pittance..

it would be pretty silly to not just replace the entire pump, they are not that expensive

and in the other thread did you not say that you have already purchased one anyway?

n ono i got the new pump i just need the bearing that comes outta the block... the shaft that stickos off the block has a bearing on it and thats the one i need

what exactly is wrong with the one you have, i have never heard of anyone with a problem with one of those either

its no problem...and the original one is a little wobbly...idk if its supposed to be like that or not

The other end of the shaft gets supported by the water pump when it's installed, so that takes the wobble out. I bet yours is fine.
