Hi guys. I am new to this forum and I have a question that I cant find an answer to. I have an LT1 out of a 96 Camaro and I was wondering if it is possible to disassemble and rebuild the factory water pump? I want to get the housing powder-coated and my powder-coater said I have to have the whole pump taken apart. I've called around to several parts houses for a rebuild kit and have had no luck. Any help is really appreciated.
