Can anyone tell me what hose this is that goes on the waterpump... I need to replace it, but It looks like it attaches to a metal hose. can you just buy the hose or do you have to replace the hose plus all the metal tubing and the rest of the hose?

It's one of the heater core hoses.

The last time I tried to order this hose from GM, it was on back order. Remained on back order until their system automatically canceled it(3 months). Not sure if it has changed. It was around $80.

You can buy and replace individual hoses.

that same hose cracked on me at the pump connection. i went to oreillys and bought 6" of some dia hose and plastic coupling and hose clamps. it was like $5 out the door. way cheaper than the $80 hose mentioned.
