I took a Hole Saw and Used my drill press to make it slightly larger to accept a standard Size Freeze plug, the Bearing that is in there is a Bastard Size. You may be able to find one and if you doMay the force be with you. I bought a whole Front cover with new seals for 50 Bucks from the Dealer so if you ever wanna go back it's not horrible

Re: Water Pump Drive Size? (FreezePlug)

yeah its an off size. I used one size bigger of the flat freeze plug from napa. dont recall what size it was. maybe 1 1/4". take your cover in there find one that will just barely not fit, then use a bench grinder to grind down the edges till it barely fits in w/some hammering so it will hold itself in. I used jb weld as a sealer inside the hole before I tapped it in. Ive seen people use coins in there the same way too. I'll send a pic of mine if I can find it.
