i am almost done doing the ewp in my car, but the csr pump has such a small o ring on it, its kinda scary. i couldn't reuse the gasket that goes around that inspection cover or whatever it is on the stock water pump housing, i called the down the street, they couldn't get it, i went to a pontiac dealer, they didn[t show that gasket on the screen just that o-ring.
what did you guys use for a gasket or where did u get one? i was thinking rtv but that surface on the ewp is machined really smooth so i am sure it would probably just get pushed out and leak at one point. any suggestions?

I think you just put it together with the small O-ring that the pump comes with the CSR, but I'm not sure and I'm trying to get the answer too.
But the directions say nothing about reuseing the old gasket or using sealer so I'm just going to use the CSR o-ring unless I find otherwise

yeah i really don't think that o-ring would seal much at all since i can pretty much compress it all the way wit my finger. plus the csr housing is smooth so that part would seal good, but the water pump housing is far from a smooth surface so i doubt that seal would work too good against that part.
Does anyone got any answers?

I just bolted mine all together, but my motor is nowhere near done. I didn't use any sealer but like I said, until I hear otherwise I'll leave mine with no sealer. But if it goes on the car and leaks I'll use it then
