water pump

1993 LT1 '92 Camaro. Wondering how you can tell if the water pump is bad. Engine gets hot and I have some leaking of coolant in the passenger side inside the car. Seems like the water isn't moving though because there is no heat coming out of the heater. Any help would be great.

Check underneath the waterpump, there's a little hole called the weephole that will leak water once the seal start's to go bad.

Also check the thermostat which can cause the symptons your describing.

If you have coolant leaking inside the car then your heater core is bad and needs replaced.
It may be clogged so I would replace it and then go from there.
