water in opti

I had a radiator hose above my opti spring a leek. Well the car was idling for about 20 minutes and i went to drive off and mad it around the block and it started backfiring. When i stopped it sounded like a rod was knocking and it took me a minute to figure out what had happened. I thought about it all night and the next day took it out and drove the crap out of it. After about 20 minutes and a half a tank of gas it cleared up. Besides fixing the leak do i need to do anything else to the opti. I keep reading about all these opti problems and its got me kinda worried. Its the 96 vented model.

Re: water in opti

It probably dried out. If it's running right now, no need to change it.
