Water in oil???

Maybe you guys can help clarify this. My TA has been sitting in a garage since mid December when I wrecked it. I started it up at least every 2 weeks. Then about 2 months ago I had it hauled over to my work so I could put it back together. It wouldn't start after sitting for a few weeks outside. So I tow strapped it down into the shop and hooked the jump box to it. When I hit the key it went about 2 revolutions and went BANG. I got it on the lift and it had broken the starter so I tried to turn the crank. When it wouldn't turn I pulled the oil pan. I guarantee there was about a gallon of WATER in the oil. Keep in mind it's got antifreeze in the cooling system. It bent the #6 rod up against the crank. I pulled the head tonite, there was about a cup of WATER still sitting on top of the #8 piston.
Keep in mind that the reason I had the car towed to the shop is because my old boss screwed my out of about $3k and I haven't seen him since.
Now how would that much water get into my motor?

Was there coolant in the water that was in the motor? Heavy rains lately?

Absolutely no coolant in the cylinders or the oilpan.

Im going to say that it had to get in through the valve cover or something rediculous like that. I see now way it could make it thoruhg the thrrottle body, at least that much.

sounds like it was hydrolocked for whatever reason. rotating assembly is probably ok since it happened at startup.
im guessing you had a leaking head gasket or something.

PLEASE DO NOT REPLY UNLESS YOU'VE READ THE POST!

My 93 used to leak onto the motor with the hood closed. Bad seal around the hood or something I guess. When I had the heads off it rained and water got all in the motor.... something I didnt think could happen. Where was the car when this happened?

The car was only sitting out for a total of a month. It had the hood on and the motor was completely together at all times.

Sounds like either you had some serious misfortune and there is a bad gasket on the top end of the motor and somehow water got in or someone was malicious enough to pour water in there when you weren't around.

This is too weird ... Just curious how were the head gaskets when you pulled them?

I been thinking about it more and more, and if you are 100% sure it was not antifreeze, then I say someone probably hates you.

And dont rule this out.

Ive seen kids in my neighboorhood get caught vandalizing cars over the dumbest ****.

One kid caught caught breaking windows with a spring loaded center punch ( VERY AWESOME ) cause the lady was in the hospital and didnt get a chance to pay him yet for cutting her grass. So dont rule out punk kids ...

The head gasket looked like new and so did the intake gaskets. There was also no water in the intake. Havin the head checked just for $hits n giggles tomorrow.

Now if you were to pull the pcv tube out of the valve cover and pour water in it, where would it go?
