Does anyone have a picture of the ecm cover for a 97 LT1?

Are you referring to the PCM (Powertrain Control Module). Also, how does the thread title relate?

water got in the ecm from dripping from the cowl. wondering if there is supposed to be a cover on the ecm, as the plugs are exposed. o-rings look to be in good condition on the connectors.

Don't know about the 97 but the 95 has breather holes on the knock module cover. other than that it's pretty much water tight.

There is no cover on the PCM. There is a screwed cover plate with a rubber gasket for the knock module:

that is exactly what i am talking about. we got a lot of rain the other night and i just need the cover to divert water, not make it air tight. water pouring off the cowl area onto the plugs and eventually you're gonna get water in it.
