Waste Of Money

I was talking to a few guys that think they are gods gift to the world,their telling me i wasted my money on installing shorty headers on a stock lt1.Can somebody tell me if their right or wrong.

The are wrong. You still get a good gain from shorties. For a Max gain LT will bring more HP.

Agreed. Shorty headers are still worth ~10-15 horse over stock manifolds. Definitely worthwhile IMO.

Lol. I hate those type of people. They are everywhere I guess. Ask them what they base their opinions on? I'm guessing they have dyno-tested everything for LT1's probably. You made a wise choice. Long may be better but those are 10x better than manifolds and its much easier to change spark plugs.

Yeah shorties don't do our cars any good...especially not when stock


Any after market Headers shorty or LT's will wake our cars up. That's one of the biggest HP adders for us. On a stock car they're an excellent start. My cars not really stock but I have shorties and they feel h3lla good I just got them becasue I wanted headers while I figure out what to do with the motor...go tell those guys to suck your exhaust pipe.
