Warning to Long tube users

I went out and looked more into my cruise control problem and found that my Long tube header on the drivers side sits right against my cruise control cable that connects the Throttle body to the the cruise control module.
It had burned through the rubber insulation and burnt some of the metal cable of on the inside too.

Im still unsure y my cruise control doesnt work because its just a cable right? even if its burnt it still should work..
I think....

Well just to let u know what i found.

probably fried the innards of the wire. as in its not strong enough to carry a full signal anymore - also could easily be a relay/fuse somewhere.

Coated headers will help but that cable needs to be put behind the shield that protects the brake lines.
Easy to do and it will solve your problem.
