wrong forum.. should be in the drag racing tech for more replys.. but...

Best things for drag racing are not lowering springs. Thats actually not good.
Lower control arms, torque arm, and nitto drag radials or a sticky street tire.

If you can stomach the price the QA1s are the best. I did not want to pay that much so I went with the KYBs.
I would start with LCAs and panhard rod.
Lakewood makes decent ones that won,t clean your wallet out, then I suggest some sticky tires and if you got the money and the skills to install it an Eibach drag launch kit. BMR TA.
This is basically the setup I have now and out of the box without any tuning and running 35 psi in the Nittos with no burnout (just cleaned em and staged) I ran a 2.0 sixty foot.
I have the TA adjusted better now and the shocks seem much better at the softer setting and 15lbs in the air bag it seems to be hooking much better. I plan on getting out to the track in the next week or 2 and anticipate 1.8 sixty foot times.

I love my QA1 shocks...but they are a pretty penny...

As for hooking at the track, personally i'd do LCA and re-location brackets and then a orque arm etc...
