Have a 95 T/A and the cats when you rev are crackling and was wondering how hard it would be to GUT that MF. NEEDS A FIX!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

 

Just pull the cat back pipe off, get a large screwdriver and a hammer and poke holes into the ceramic material in the cat. Then get a shop vac and vac out all the chips. I would use a mask to protect against dust. The inside of the cat is brittle and easily chipped up.

 

Defintely wear a mask or you will feel terrible for days.

 

It takes alot of pounding to gut a cat. Screw the shop vac just fire it up and rev it a few times. You say cats is yours the dual cat y-pipe? If so your gonna need to remove it to access the cat. Best route would be an ORY then.
