Waiting 20 mins to shift in gears(M6)

Soon I'll be taking my car to the dealer and try to figure out what the problem is with my shifting. Everyday when I start up the car...I have to wait(up to 20 mins.) until the car is fully heated..almost up to 220 degrees, then I can shift into all of my gears..this is a result of shifting into second while skip shift light was on( happen various times) yes it actually got stuck in second gear, it did not block the shifter like it was suppose. Any suggestions would be helpful

Bad throw out bearing. Low fluid/damage. Clutch out of adjustment or worn. Just a few thoughts.
