A friend of mine was looking on ebay for a CIA, and came accross a CIA called Vortex and asked me if it was any good... I told him that I dont know.





For all who still remember me, and those who do not.... Just wanted to see how you guys are doing.

Vortex CAI is only for vettes . If im wrong someone let me know but ive never seen a CAI from vortex for an F-Body .

 

Do you have a link to that ebay auction for the Vortex CAI? It could be someone custom making one and just slapping a silly name on it. I want to see what it looks like.

they have them on there for V6's and for the LT1's as well.

 

It doesn't look like it will put the filter out of the engine compartment, judging by the piece of pipe in the picture. If so, its not really what I would call a cold air intake. Really it looks like a piece of bent exhaust tubing with no provision for the air pump or mounting tab to locate it on the radiator cover and a cheap filter.

 

I got this one in mail on it's way to me. What do you think?
