Cam sounds good at idle AND running down the road.

I'm getting all geared up to run my SS in FS (SCCA AutoX class) next year nationally, and everytime I see a in car like this it makes me want to cam the SS, but I can't!!!!! Dam RULES! I guess I gotta put a cam in the 5.3L in my truck then!

Well I've got a LS2 block here and would probably put some L92's on it with some LT's and a L92 intake and throw that in the truck....... I gotta rebuild the SS motor to get it up to snuff first. I'm amazed at the LS1, I've never had a motor make it 90,000miles from the OEM. The valve seals are going on it right now is all I can tell so far.

I thought SS's and WS6's ran in AS.

They do currently but it looks like the proposal to move them back to FS will happen.

Cool! I always thought that was silly to put them in AS... it was really just for the wheels and suspension, and they're not that much better.
