Got about 50 miles on it so far. And it is flawless. Runs great, pulls HARD to 4k, Nick wont let me go any higher yet.....jerk And best of all, the smoke show from before VRE got a hold of it is totally gone

Yeah, I have a few harness's. It was smoking due to bad rings and bad workmanship The motor thought it had a lean condition so it added fuel. Now its fixed

Re: Video of my Victory Racing Engines motor

i'm referring to your cut harness with the battery clips to simplify tuning....

interesting, my truck is throwing a code saying it's reading lean, replaced the O2 and i still get it, along with an egr code. i'm wondering if it's the egr...just struck me odd with mine cuz the plugs look great.

anyway, if you get alittle bored and have that harness with you your welcome to drop by, we can fire up my laptop and see if my cable and software will work right, maybe load up a tune. should have my heads either tomorrow or friday, depends if my pops will help me out.

anyhow, ttyl

I will be over there for the Woodward weekend. If you are around then I can do it. Just let me know and I will throw that harness in The Rag before I come out.

Re: Video of my Victory Racing Engines motor

Thanks Q and everyone else, this is just an example of the work that we are capable of at Victory Racing Engines. The breakdown of the engine is as follows:

LT1 Block with Billet Caps
3.750" Eagle 4340 Crank
Eagle 6.000" Rods
Diamond Forged Pistons -5cc
Diamond Pro Select Rings
Clevite Bearings Throughout

That is really all I added and from there it was re-using the parts Q had accumulated from previous builds to get the job done right. The camshaft is a mild cam (mid 230's) that he had from the previous engine. Our mission here was to get it running properly, and to get Q to fall in love with car all over again. Sounds like MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!

The cam that is in Q's engine is a 236/245, that he had in the 355 previously.
