This vid is from the EFA MOD LT1 final against one bad *** yellow T/A driven by Chris Jones. I had around 8 10 sec passes last weekend, and the one in the vid was before we even began tuning on the car. Just trying to represent us LT1 guys by putting a little fear in the LS1 guys

Damn that is smokin on a stock bottom end!!! I want to maybe touch a high 10 with a forged bottom end, le3 and 200 shot at high altitude...no i probably wont do it unless i drive 10 hrs to a lower track.

Ya i hope so but this dang altitude kills me. Dang dude you must suprise quite abit of ls1's. How much longer do you think that stock bottom end will hold up?

 

It surprises a whole lot of people Everyone wants to check for the nitrous.
I think the bottom end will hold for a while. I had a busted piston last year and am in the process of building a stroker with that block. I was given a low mile shortblock by a very good friend . We checked it out and replaced the rings and bearings, and reused the stock components. I wanted to see what I could get out of the heads and cam before I bolted them to a stroker. Plus, it was VERY cheap I admit that I would have chosen a better ring package, but couldn't find one for the stock pistons. It even has stock rod bolts If I can keep the revs down, it should last me a while.

 

Just curious how high are you spinning that?

I've got a Joe/EB solid roller package I'm trying to finish but in the mean time I've been thinking about doing the same thing to a stock shortblock.
