Vibrating at high speeds

I do agree with Scooby on some things.
Be safe first and foremost.
Always think before doing anything.
By the way the 1LE aluminum shaft cured my high speed vibration as well.

Several possibilities: (1) Change to an aluminum driveshaft. I did and it vastly improved high speed vibrations - but didn't solve it.
(2) Could be tire balance, that is easy to do. Take it back to whomever sold you the tires and ask for a balance and rotate. (3) Could be your timing chain. I did 1 and 2 and then did 3 because of a front engine leak.......my timing chain was VERY loose and I put on a new Cloyes chain and gears, lowered high speed vibrations a bunch. (4) Could be rear gears if you've got 3.73s +.
The aluminum drive shaft is going to cost you a couple hundred and is worth it.....aluminum is balanced differently than iron shafts....iron shafts have balance weights welded on while aluminum is balanced by grinding away material.
