Dick at my g/f school is talkin **** about his z06 his parents bought him with gas on it. I was wondering what all I need to outrun em?? I have custom ported head, lt4 hot cam with 1.6 rr and springs. PP intake and TB and a tune from madz28. I have hooker longtubes I'm about to get some drag radials. NE input would be nice, u think a simple shot of gas could do the trick??? The z06 is like a 2000 or 2002. ne input would be helpful, thanx

 

bigger cam, if your heads, intake and TB are ported, the hotcam may not be big enough to run with the Z06. some N2O would help.

 

DUDE, I had a 2002 Z06, and it was really really hard to get beat.
There were times when I almost got beat, but at higher rpm, they fly.
I ran with many LS-1 camaro's and T/A's, they Never had a chance,

those cars are pretty damn fast stock,(thats why they are so exspensive)
Be sure your ready, so he don't make you look like an ***.

Have you considered a punch in the nose, or if he's bigger than you, a swift kick in the "ohmygods"?

Yeah, he is basically a little rich kid that gets what he wants, and I'm trying to prove a point that expensive cars can get beat. Thanx for the input though, he's just cocky about it, and I know he should be, just think that there should be some way that an lt1 could outrun it. Thanx guys

Get you some gas and a hooking car. Don't choke. Let him give anything he wants. Don't be too good to take some cars if he wants to give them(or at least the lift). I am assuming he isn't used to that kind of power(if he really has nitrous). If so, more than likely, he won't hook it. If you get a good lift, he spins, and you race good, he shouldn't have a chance. It is very hard to make up ground. I don't care how fast a car is. I mean unless, it's a sprayed Z06 against a 95 Z. Just joking. Btw, it won't make that much difference, but there is a generous hp deficiency in the 2000 ZO6s compared to the 02s.

If you guys are in high school, wow. What a set of irresponsible parents. You might be reading about him in the papers. You should ****** his emblems and sell them on ebay after the wreck.
