very unique electrical problem...PLEASE help

ok, so this is a new one to me. for the last couple of weeks, my car would do this thing where if it had been a while since i drove it(like overnight) when i got in the car and tried to start it, the battery was too weak...it would try to start but didn't have enough, just clicked...BUT if i left the key in the on position for 15-30 seconds, the battery would "build power" and then it would start. well today, it threw me a new wrinkle that i assume is the same problem. got in the car after lunch and started it, and then it shut off after about 2 seconds, like the juice was gone. started it again, and it died after about 3 seconds...and then, nothing...i mean, the battery guage was bottomed out completely...no power to anything, no guages, nothing. i figured at that point it might be a more electrical problem other than the battery, but i really don't know...please help me if you can, i need to get it running! thanks in advance!

Your piece is busted!!!

Best thing for you right now is to sell that thing to a junk yard and start all over.

Check your ground wire. Mine did the same thing and it saved me from taking off the alternator and battery, etc.

Seriously, if could just be rusted where it bolts to the frame OR it could be loose at the battery.

Mine was the loose one.
