Question Very Slight 'crunch' during hard acceleration (A4)

Recently the car (in sig) has started to do a very slight 'grumble/crunch' during moderate/hard acceleration.

It's not slipping though, and almost feels like its coming through the center console. The car's got nearly 120k relatively easy/very well maintained miles on it (I rarely hammer it).
I was thinking it might be the tranny mount?
Any Ideas
Thanks.

Thanks for the replies, I'll definitely have it looked at. I'm just glad it does'nt seem to be the 4L60E.

My previous '84 H.O. Z28 (highschool/college car) went through five 700R4s over its life, so you can see I'm very weary of our autos.
