This '95 formula i bought almost touches the colored "low" pressure at idle..........Is this common or what should i do about it?
My car has 60k miles.

That maybe normal for the miles on the car. The only way to be sure is to use an external oil pressure gauge, also if the person who owned the car before you put in new white face gauge overlays he might not have put the needle on correctly.

 

15-25 is very normal at idle, as long as it picks up to at least 40 under throttle, I wouldnt worry.

 

LT1s are usually low on pressure, but not to where they're almost hitting that red line on the bottom. Mine has 70,xxx miles and it's probably 23 at a warm idle. I'd get that checked out, that seems to be extremely low.
