Very Bad Problem With Car!!!!!!

Ok a few weeks ago I had a nitrous backfire on my car and at the time all I thought it did was blow my air filter to **** and descreen my MAF for me. At least this is all I noticed. Tonight for the first time since the accident I took the car out for a ride. Here is where the problems began........

OK I hadn't felt the power in a while so I figure what the hell. Had it in first and stepped on it, it pulled very hard up to around 3800 then it just fell on its face. I had the pedal to the floor and it wouldn't go anywhere. I was like WTF!!! So I let off the gas and put it in 2nd, take it up to around 2800 and floor it, it climbs to 4300 so I figured it was ok and then once again it just fell on its face. It did this several times at different RPM's so its not something that occurs at the same RPM. I can have the pedal to the floor and it just won't go anywhere. It's like I'm not even on the gas.

Just in case there is any confusion I was not on the spray, actually I am selling the whole kit to just get away from it and saving the money for a built motor.

Any suggestions would be helpful, I am really worried about it. Thanks

Did you replace the MAF? if it blew the screen out i'm sure it damaged the wires in the MAF.
