Vented opti lines... where do they go?

Can anyone tell me where the vent lines go exactly? ie, the line that runs from the metal hose barb on the opti goes "xxxx" and the line from the plastic hose barb goes "zzzz."

I don't have the GM lines so i'm going to have to construct my own.

The vaccum line with the 90* elbow goes on the top of the intake elbow and the other one goes into the drivers side of the intake. Mid-way down the side on a small fitting towards the bottom. I dont think it matters where they go on the opti-spark. Dont remember either

ok, so one of the lines draws air out of the intake tube and the other uses vacuum to pull air out of the opti and into the intake, correct?

Actually I think they are two seperate lines. One provides a vaccum to keep moisture out of the cap and rotor section and the other does the same but for the optical sensor side.

oh. So which port from the opti goes to the intake manifold and which goes to the intake elbow?

One hose goes to the intake manifold for vacuum. The other hose goes to the intake elbow for clean air supply. This constantly draws clean air through the opti to help reduce moisture and ozone contamination.
