vented or non-vented opti???? (pics inside)

I bought a non-vented optispark on this board a couple months ago and I am just getting arround to installing it now. I removed the old one and examined the new one and it looks to be a vented version. He told me that there was an opti, cap and rotor but i did not recieve a rotor. The cap looks to be vented(the white cover is for this to?) but the opti itself looks non-vented.
-here are some pics

Yes, looks like a non-vented opti main housing with a vented cap.

I guess it depends on how old and worn it is. Personally, if these items were of unknown condition, I would replace the whole thing with new. It's too much work to put on parts that may not last.

Yea, they are original and it has 70k miles on it. The opti failed when it got wet. would this affect the cap and rotor to?

The cap and rotor will dry out and be ok (as long as either is not worn out).
