Vented cap on unvented Opti,Does it work?
I have all new stuff including vacuum hose kit and fittings for the bottom of the Opti.I measured the caps and rotors and the only thing I found different was that the 95 cap had the center carbon rotor contact .025 shorter. Thanks Mike

When I did my first Opti swap I had I vented Opti. This was on a 94 and nothing was changed except the opti was vented. I got a new one from G. M. and it wasn't vented. I'm sure who ever did the opti change did just what you're saying. Makes sense.

Hey shoebox ,As a matter of fact I think it was you that pointed me to the site where the Vette guy modified a non-vented cap and body.I did the same thing back in Nov. but this time the GM parts place is going to warranty the Opti since it's under a year old so I went ahead and bought a cap kit from O'Reileys for a cleaner job. Thanks
