ok I get ready to leave and the security light comes on and stays on. I turned the car off and it starts back up fine. I drive around the block and back to the apt. the light is still on but it starts just fine the vats isn't killing it like I thought it should. Is there something else that triggers that light I thought it was just the circuit with the resistor in the key? If I go out tonight will I end up dead on the road? The light cam on like this a year ago because of dirty contacts in the ignition, but then it wouldn't start now it starts fine. Any Ideas?

 

My security light is on all the time as well. No problems in 2 years!

 

I have the same problem - does anyone know how to get the light off?

 

Is the security light for the factory radio? Maybe it lost its code.
