valvetrain trouble again

Hello, try to be brief. I had 2 bent pushrods repaired back in August. I have less than 1,000 miles on it now and this morning I again have VT problems.
The symptoms it had when it was running fine was low RPM it had a slight stumble which could be the EGR since I had that replaced.

I took it to a different and highly trained and skilled mechanic in the nature of perfromance cars and siad it is either a collasped lifter or a rocker arm.

My question is, even though i won;t g near that garage again who did the work, what is causing this? Is he overtightning the valves? Thanks for reading as this would be my third valve job on the pass. side since Feb. this year.

Piston to valve clearance to tight.
Valve to cylinder wall.
Valve stem to valve stem guide clearance.
Incorrect installed spring height, or open/closed pressures.
Wrong length push rods.
Non-hardened push rods with guide plates.
Wrong springs for the cam.
Spring binding when open.
Rocker stud bending/pulling. Etc., etc., etc...
I'm sure there's lots more!!

When you wrote ". . . I again have VT problems", do you mean you have more bent pushrods?

I havn't made the appt yet to get it looked at /fixed . All I was told was either lifter or rocker.

On the good side, I was hoping that it was just valve train and just general poor maint.

Bad side is I am hoping no cam damage, also that this isn't a bearing problem that would cause continue failure since this is a reman. engine and wait for it... the warranty has just passed.
