valve train noise

Since my cam install I have had a noise at about 5500 rpm with a lot of Knock. I had 1.6 RR and crane 10308 valve springs on the car before the new cam without problems. I just got new lifters which seem to help but the noise is still there. I have a comp 230/236 EE .544, are these springs ok for this cam? What else could be causing this noise?

Do you know your seat and nose pressure?

Yes,you need to know if the springs have enough pressure not to "bounce" off of the seat and or they have enough not to 'launch' the lifter off of the nose of the cam, which could cause the noise at RPM due to slack in the valve train.
