Which valve springs?

I'm thinking of buying a used set of Comp Pro Magnum roller rockers from a local guy, part#1318-16, 1.6 ratio self-aligning. He is also selling comp 987 springs but from what I've read, these springs require machining of the head. I'm trying to find out if these springs will work without machining or if I should look for different springs. If I look elsewhere, what kind should I get? I plan on running these on a stock cam for the time being and maybe in the future upgrading the cam to a xe224/230 112lsa. Also, what other parts will I need (example. retainers etc.etc.)?
Lastly, where's the best place to buy these springs form, I'm thinking maybe summit or Jegs?

Thanks,
Tyler

Yeah, 987's require the heads to be machined. I went with Crane springs 99893, which didn't. They should have more than enough seat pressure for the cam you want to run.

But call Crane and double check, it's been awhile before I installed those springs on my car.
